Thank you teachers!

Let’s say thank you! We invite you to participate in the appreciation week for Interamericano’s teachers from May 4th to 8th, 2015. This is a great opportunity to thank teachers for their valuable participation in the education of our children, especially for their dedication and effort throughout the school year.

Below you will find some ideas of how you can show your appreciation:

  • Write a thank you note.
  • Make a pretty card with your children.
  • Encourage your children to show their appreciation to teachers.
  • Offer your help in any classroom activity.
  • Any other activities that you consider special.

The time you take to prepare a small token of appreciation will make teachers feel valuable and their hearts with be filled with joy.

Let’s make teachers feel even happier and more satisfied with their vocation as educators, and may these gestures of gratitude encourage close communication among Interamericano’s community.

Interamericano donates over Q.264,000 for children fighting cancer

The Inter community has done it again! The Arco Iris sales have been a huge success. Our families and students worked hard for three weeks, selling as many tickets as possible and the results are unbelievable!

We were hoping to reach our goal of raising at least Q192,485, which is the amazing amount we raised last year. The students at Inter put all of their effort into this fundraising project and surpassed last year’s amount! The total amount that Inter donated to the Arco Iris Race is Q. 264,869.

To put this in perspective, the money we donated will pay for one chemotherapy treatment for 53 children fighting cancer! Inter is truly making a difference in the world! We are all SO proud!

Special Recognition goes to 1D for selling 170 tickets altogether! They sold the most tickets out of all of the sections!

These students got to paint Mr. Wieburg’s face like a rainbow at an elementary assembly last Monday, April 27th, the day after the race. In addition, all students in the school came that day in their race t-shirts.

At Inter, we teach many things, but compassion is one of the most important. Thank you for supporting our students and helping them learn about the power of giving! We should all be so proud!
